American Assistance Dogs, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities. We serve clients by providing specially trained dogs that help them gain greater independence, confidence, and a deeper connection to the community. American Assistance Dogs, Inc. is committed to respect, leadership, and standards of excellence.

We are a volunteer-based nonprofit organization founded in April 2006. AAD puts forth two things: its dogs and its clients. Both are treated with respect and our relationship continues with both for the life of the dog. We pride ourselves on being able to operate with the understanding that our clients and our dogs both have physical and emotional needs. Our dogs are not only loved companions but also hard working partners. They not only help an individual with daily tasks but also provide a life of greater independence, security, and increased self esteem. A relationship with one of our dogs is the reason for our trademark, “One Miracle at a Time!”™.
